Our Board member Roberto Moreno is one of the invited experts for the activity “Role of the Work Team Officers”, part of the EU funded twinning project “Strengthening Victims Rights in Criminal Justice System“. Because of his knowledge and experience in the victim support system of the Basque Country, Roberto will give advise on a new model for victims assistance in Turkey.
For this, a 5-day workshop has been organised in Turkey on 22-26 October in which Roberto and the other invited experts will propose the concrete competences of the social workers, psychologists, pedagogues and juridical advisers which will work in the provincial victim support units. The objective of this activity is to define the role and actions of these professionals and elaborate a guideline on the approach to attend victims to be used by the civil servants and services providers in contact with victims of crimes.
