On 4 April 2019, the Dutch Council of Criminal Justice and Child Protection organises its annual conference on the topic of restoration and victims in prison.
In the Netherlands, the victim is more and more visible during the criminal justice procedure and there is an increasing attention for restorative interventions within all forms of detention (pre-trial, juveniles, forensic, prison).
The EFRJ will be represented by Dr. Bart Claes (executive board) at this conference. He will present on how RJ practices in prison can promote desistance from crime.
