On the occasion of the international #rjweek 2017, the EFRJ launched the film A CONVERSATION (No Theatre 2017) based on a theatre play where two families engage into a dialogue after the rape and murder of a young girl.
The film will be screened again in Bulgaria (Sofia, 21 April, 18-21hrs) after the conference “Rethinking Crime and Punishment” (9-18hrs), organised by our members Dobrinka Chankova and Rumen Petrov and supported by Възстановително правосъдие в България (RJ Bulgaria). The event aims at stimulating the implementation of RJ in different fields and communities, as well as at initiating the establishment of a national platform for RJ.

During the RJ week 2017, the film, which has been subtitled in 15 languages by our members, was screened in 68 different venues in 26 countries and reached about 3000 people coming from different fields of expertise (e.g. mediators, lawyers, psychologists, criminologists, probation officers, prison staff, policemen, artists, researchers, policy officers, educators, youth workers, activists…).
