On the occasion of the international #rjweek 2017, the EFRJ launched the film A CONVERSATION (No Theatre 2017) based on a theatre play where two families engage into a dialogue after the rape and murder of a young girl.
One year later, the film is still screened all over Europe and beyond. This time the initiative is organised by our Board member Patrizia Patrizi who will take care of introducing and discussing the film with an audience of mediator in juvenile justice cases during a course organise by the region Sardinia (Sassari, 12 October).
The film will be screened with Italian subtitles thanks to the work done by the teams at Sassari University and PsicoIus in Rome (EFRJ members volunteered to subtitle the film in 15 languages!).
This is one of the many screenings that are taking place across the world since the launch during the RJ Week 2017. Only during that week the film was screened in 68 different venues in 26 countries and reached about 3000 people from different fields of expertise (e.g. mediators, lawyers, psychologists, criminologists, probation officers, prison staff, policemen, artists, researchers, policy officers, educators, youth workers, activists…).
