Latvia – The invisible part of RJ

The EFRJ organisational member State Probation Service of Latvia celebrated the international RJ Week with a series of initiatives grouped under the name “The invisible part of Restorative Justice” (26-30 November). About 50 different activities were organised all around Latvia, like:

• Discussions about crime victims in RJ;
• Workshops for students of the universities and for students of the police college;
• Peace making circles with school’s students;
• Round table discussions about role of the volunteers in RJ;
• Screening of the movie “A Conversation”;
• Discussions with staff of prison department;
• and much more!
