The treasurer of the EFRJ Board is one of the speakers of the launch event of “K.I.N.D. – Kind, Ouder & Detentie”, a centre providing knowledge, advice and training to professionals and organizations (including schools, police, justice, health agencies) working with children and young people with parent in detention, in need of information, good support and customized care.
Bart is also one of the two founding members of this new centre of expertise; in his talk he will focus on restoring relationships between fathers (in prison), children and their social network, looking at how to deal with conflicts and limit victimisation from a RJ perspective. An innovative way to promote RJ values and celebrate with us this #rjweek 2018.
The event will take place on Thursday 22 November (12-17 hours) at the Avans Hogeschool in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. It is organised by K.I.N.D. in collaboration with Exodus Nederland and Expertisecentrum Veiligheid Avans Hogeschool.
The event will be in Dutch. Participation is free, registration is required.
