EFRJ member Katerina Soulou is organising two film screenings of ‘A Conversation’ in France (Paris and Marseille) followed by a discussion with the audience. The event is one among many others taking place on the occasion of the international #RJWeek.
In both events, Katarina cooperates with GENEPI where she is also a member. GENEPI aims to sensibilize civil society concerning prison issues: this will be the first time that RJ and the actions of the EFRJ will be presented to this association too. Katarina contributed to the making of the subtitles in Greek, but on these events the screenings will take place in French.
The first screening will be in Paris (librairie Publico, 145 rue Amelot) on Thursday 23 November at 19.30. This initiative is supported by APCARS and Institut Francais pour la JR (also member of the EFRJ). The second screening will be in Marseille (Videodrome 2, 49 Cours Julien, 13006 Marseille) on Saturday 25 November at 20.00. In both cases the aim is to ensure a public discussion and to disseminate the RJ ideas among the French public.
News from Katarina after the event!
Last night in Paris it was a really succesfull event! We had two people that left cause it was too much for them but I was there outside to discuss with them and to give them more info about RJ. The discussion later was really interesting and Eloise from APCARS was also there to support the discussion! APCARS and GENEPI worked and collaborated so good with me for all this! Let’s see how is gonna be in Marseille!
