Our chair Tim Chapman will be in Santiago de Chile for the International Seminar on RJ for juveniles (11 April). He will be one of the main plenary speakers together with Helena Soleto, one of the researchers in the EU funded project ‘Developing judicial training in restorative justice: Towards a European approach‘.
The seminar will include also a Latin-american panel representing 7 countries’ developments in this field and a workshop to elaborate a Route Map for the development of RJ (in juvenile justice cases) in Latin-america. Some presenters will also join our #EFRJ2018 conference in Tirana, with a parallel workshop session on RJ developments in Latin America.
The RJ workshop for juveniles will continue in the following days (12-13 April) for about 30 participants including prosecutors, defense lawyers, judges, professionals from the Ministry of Justice, mediators. The main speakers will be Tim Chapman, Helena Soleto and Ivo Aertsen (former chair of the EFRJ).
