Patrizia Patrizi (member of the EFRJ Board) and Gian Luigi Lepri (member of the EFRJ Working Group on Values and Standards for RJ) will lead a one-day seminar for psychologists of the region of Lazio in Italy about justice and restorative practices for the well-being of communities (Rome, 15 September 2018). Together, they will introduce participants to the origins, philosophy and application of restorative practices and they will provide practical techniques that they can use in their work contexts, schools, families, local community services, services for adolescents.
The initiative is part of a series of initiatives that PsicoIus (Roman School of Legal Psychology) and the Chair of Social and Legal Psychology of the University of Sassari have been carrying out since several years with the aim of encouraging a debate around the issue of restorative justice and restorative practices. More info (in Italian) here.
Patrizia and Gian Luigi will also use this occasion to screen the film “A Conversation” launched last year on the occasion of the international RJ Week 2017 and screened already in about 90 places in 30 different countries worldwide. The film, subtitled by our members in 15 languages, is available for members only, as it needs to be introduced and discussed afterwards.
