This is how the students of the Legal Psychology and Restorative Justice Practices course at the University of Sassari will celebrate the international RJ week 2019, with the screening of a short RJ film followed by a discussion during a dinner with friends!
They chose to screen one of these films:
- Expanding the restorative imagination, the film based on the interviews made during the 10th international conference of the EFRJ in Tirana 2018 (to get inspired and start preparing for the upcoming conference in Sassari 2020!)
- Restorative Aperitive (original title: Aperitivo Ristorativo) produced by students of Sassari University in in occasion of the RJ Week 2015, when the University of Sassari and the local community of Tempio Pausania organised a Restorative Conference in Prison and a Restorative Aperitif in a local bar of the town.
- Flash mob “Legami” (ties), produced by students of the artistic liceum Fabrizio de André in Sassari and launched in occasion of the RJ Week 2016, when the students organised a flash mob in the city to raise awareness about RJ.
In order to better prepare for the RJ Week 2019, the students already did some preparatory work, gathering together words and drawings that represent RJ, its values, the desire to connect people and make community. See pictures below!
The students are waiting for the EFRJ community to cross borders and visit Sassari for the 11th international conference of the EFRJ: “Justice beyond borders: Restorative connections through space end language” (25-27 June 2020).
