Perspectief Herstelbemiddeling (member organisation of the EFRJ) wants to give professionals who work with victims, offenders, their families and/or witnesses a look in their mediation kitchen. They take their guests through the experiences of people who have participated in a restorative mediation process and enable their guests to experience mediation themselves as a spectator or as an active participant.
Attendees can come into contact with, for example, a woman who talked with the man who killed her brother or with Marco, a truck driver, who caused a deadly accident. The day also offers the opportunity to meet the organisation’s mediators, who will be present as they will have a leading role in the various workshops.
The event seems very popular, as the registration for the day is already closed, due to an overwhelming number of registrations following a save the date send out at the end of September through their newsletter mailing list.
