Members of the EFRJ staff and board will be in Dublin (Ireland) next May for three different events. These can be good occasions to meet us and attend other events in the field of restorative practices and victim support!
9-10 May
The chair of the EFRJ Board, Tim Chapman, and the Events & Communications Officer of the EFRJ, Emanuela Biffi, will present at the conference of the International Institute of Restorative Practices (IIRP Europe), entitled Conflict in Europe: Meeting the Challenge. Chapman will present on the response of RJ to the changing political and social conditions in the world in the session ‘False Assumptions?: Rethinking Restorative Practices in the Wake of 2016‘. He will also present in another workshop in collaboration with colleagues, entitled ‘The Recurring Shortcomings Experienced in the Practical Application of Restorative Justice in the UK‘. Biffi will present the ALTERNATIVE filming project (which includes contributions from Austria, Hungary, Northern Ireland and Serbia) in the session entitled ‘Restorative Justice Approaches in Intercultural Conflict Settings‘.
