EFRJ Board member Patrizia Patrizi is involved as external expert in the project CONSCIOUS – An inter-systemic model for preventing reoffending by perpetrators guilty of sexual abuse and domestic violence (Topic: Prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children) coordinated by the Department of Salute mentale e patologie da dipendenza – ASL of Frosinone, and funded under the REC-Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme.
The project aims to prevent reoffending of sex offenders and perpetrators, and foster their social reintegration, through the creation of inter-systemic and inter-institutional synergies, between policy and judicial levels, as well as between prisons and socio-sanitary services, based on the prevention and treatment practices and methodologies addressing people detained for crimes related to sexually violent behaviors (sex offenders), as well as
persons under alternative surveillance measures, and people who have served their sentence and are included in therapy paths for preventing the risk of recidivism.
Patrizia’s role is the “Evaluation and Follow-up of the Conscious Model”, to strengthen the capacity building functions of the project, through the elaboration and drafting of the “Plan for the social reintegration of the perpetrators”.
